Our classes are on-demand, so you may begin your program anytime throughout the year.

All applicants must meet the following requirements to receive consideration for admission:

• Applicants must live in accordance with godly principles, and be actively involved in a local, regional, or international ministry.
• Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
• Applicants must complete the online application, including a $50 nonrefundable registration fee.

We understand the busy schedules of each student we have. So we have designed the courses in a manner for you to study them at your own pace.

Tuition is paid for each program you choose. We currently have three areas or programs of study. Simply choose the program you desire and fill out the application.
Tuition is paid using Surecart or sending a cashier’s check or money order to our office. **All cashier’s checks or money orders will be made out to:

Tuition: $597 per Academic Program
Registration Fee: $50
Total cost for one Academic Program = $50 registration + $597 tuition = $647
When the program is completed by the student we will send you an “Certificate in Practical Ministry,” and it usually takes the student 3-4 months to complete; It depends on the students study pace.

Flex-Pay Plan: [If you need a flexible pay plan]
Registration fee (non-refundable) = $150, followed by three equal payments of $175.
Payments would begin 30 days from the day of enrollment.
Total cost for one Academic Program: $150 registration + 3 payments of $175 = $675.

**If the student finishes a Program and wishes to enroll in another Program, the cost of the second Program of study is only $297 + $50 registration.

**Gatekeepers University estimates students will spend on average $15-$30 on reading assignment books.

Yes, if a husband and wife both take the same course, then the second person to register for the course will receive a spouse discount of 50% off the tuition for the second course taken. The registration fee would be $50 for the spouse, even for the Flex-Pay Plan.

GSOM endeavors to keep its tuition affordable as possible, and since we offer such a low threshold of tuition, we do not offer a financial aid program at this time.

Yes, international students can enroll in our training, and they will use the same application as USA students. Simply choose the application created for your language.
All our classes are designed to be completed 100% online, and practical ministry requirements can be fulfilled in the student’s local area.

Most individuals who apply to GSOM are more interested in seeking the training, and less interested in obtaining a regionally or professionally accredited degree or certification.  Positions such as teaching positions in regionally accredited colleges, military chaplains, or government positions require a regional accreditation, but pastoring, worship leaders, elders, outreach, missionaries and more are not required to have such accreditation.

Accreditation is a process exclusive to the United States, whereas in other countries, colleges and universities are overseen by government approval.  Within the United States, accreditation is a voluntary procedure, managed by independent accrediting agencies that may or may not be recognized by the federal government. It is important to note a college or university’s license to operate is regulated by the state government and should not be confused with accreditation.  Additionally, each state has its own set of criteria regarding universities, seminaries, and Bible colleges.

However, it is important to note that many college admission decisions are made by individual academic program boards or directors, not the central Office of Admission. Some departments may be willing to admit a student without the necessary credentials if they feel the student demonstrates compensating strengths in other areas.

Gatekeepers School of Ministry students are required to actively involved in hands-on functional ministry at a local, regional, or international level. 

Each Academic Program will have assignments that will involve participation in a ministry, and requires the student to give reflective reports on certain occasions.

A few examples of acceptable practical ministry would include: serving as support staff for outreach ministry, serving on a church worship team, serving in your church’s youth or children’s ministry, hospital or nursing home visitation with a Christian ministry, mission trip sponsored by your local church or other Christian ministry.
